1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Rokstep ("Rokstep," "we," "us"). They cover the Rokstep app and this website. By using Rokstep, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Rokstep.

Rokstep is for business owners. It is not meant for children under 13 (under 16 in the European Union and UK). If you use Rokstep for a business, you agree to these terms for that business too.

2. What Rokstep does

Rokstep is a daily business coach for small business owners. It gives you three "Moves" each day (marketing, sales and growth actions), a coaching chat, drafts of posts and messages, simple money tools, mini-games and Local Perks at partner shops. Features may change over time.

3. AI suggestions are ideas, not advice

Many of Rokstep's suggestions are written by AI. Please keep this in mind:

• Suggestions are general ideas. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting or other professional advice. For those, talk to a qualified professional.
• AI can be wrong. Check facts, prices and numbers before you use them.
• You are in control. You decide whether to use a suggestion, and you are responsible for what you post, sell, spend or send.
• Rokstep never posts, spends money or messages your customers on its own.
• We can't promise any result, like more sales, more customers or more followers.

4. Your content

The information you put into Rokstep (your business details, goals, notes and messages) is yours. You let us use it only to run Rokstep for you, for example to send it to our AI provider to write your Moves. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You can use the drafts and ideas Rokstep gives you in your business. Other people may get similar suggestions, so we can't promise they are unique to you.

5. Using Rokstep fairly

When you use Rokstep, please don't:

• Enter other people's private information (like a customer's phone number, address or card details) without their permission.
• Use Rokstep to break the law, mislead people, send spam, or harass anyone.
• Use Rokstep to create content that is hateful or violent, or that copies someone else's work without permission.
• Try to hack, overload, copy or take apart the app, or get around its usage limits.
• Resell Rokstep or let others use your subscription without our permission.

6. Subscriptions, free trial and cancelling

• Rokstep costs $4.95 a month or $49.95 a year (U.S. dollars; taxes may apply). Prices may change. If they do, we will tell you before your next renewal.
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you will be charged.
• Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google charges you, and their billing and refund rules apply.
• Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. To cancel, go to your subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Some extras, like the Budget Tracker add-on, may be sold separately. The same rules apply to them.

7. Local Perks and partner shops

Local Perks are discounts offered by partner businesses. The partner business, not Rokstep, provides the product or service and sets the details. Perks may change or end.

8. Deleting your data and ending your use

You can stop using Rokstep at any time. Right now your business details are stored on your device. To delete them, clear your browser's site data for Rokstep or delete the app. You can also email us at mrbizwop@icloud.com and ask us to delete any information we have about you. When accounts are added, you will be able to delete your account in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Rokstep. If we stop offering Rokstep, we will try to give you notice first.

9. Our app and brand

The Rokstep app, name, logo, the Red Rocker's 10 Steps content and the design of the app belong to us or to the people who license them to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them, except to use the app as described here.

10. No warranties

We work hard to make Rokstep useful, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always work, be error-free, be available, or meet your needs, and we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Rokstep and the people behind it are not responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost profits, lost sales, lost data or harm to your business's reputation, that come from using Rokstep or acting on its suggestions.

If we are found responsible for anything, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for Rokstep in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is more.

Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

12. If there's a problem

If you have a problem with Rokstep, please email us first at mrbizwop@icloud.com. Most issues can be solved that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Rokstep grows. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. If a change is big, we will let you know in the app or on this website. If you keep using Rokstep after a change, you accept the new terms.

14. Other legal details

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Rokstep. If you got Rokstep from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those companies are not responsible for the app or for supporting it, and their own store terms also apply.
